How licences work
A short, plain-English summary. The full rules are in our End User Licence Agreement and Terms of Sale. If this page and those documents disagree, those documents apply.
Try first, free
Every product has a free 30-day trial, with no card needed. Try it in your own studio before you decide.
One licence, one person, up to 5 computers
- A licence is for you, the person who uses it.
- Activate it on up to 5 of your computers at the same time — studio, laptop, a spare.
- New computer? Deactivate an old one in the app or your account, then activate the new one. You can do this as often as you need.
- Please do not share your licence with other people.
Works offline
Activate once, online. After that you can work without an internet connection.
Your session is never interrupted
A licence check will never stop a session. If a licence lapses, plug-ins still load, so your projects always open and play.
Kinds of licence
- Perpetual licence — pay once, keep it. Plug-ins include free updates for the whole major version (all of 1.x).
- Nebula DAW — perpetual, with 12 months of updates included. After that, an optional yearly update plan keeps you current. Skip it and your version keeps working.
- All Access — everything, prepaid for 12 months. It does not renew by itself. We remind you before it ends, and you choose.
Your music is yours
Use our software for personal and commercial work. What you make belongs to you. No royalties.
Prices and VAT
Prices are shown without VAT. VAT for your country is added at checkout. EU businesses with a valid VAT number pay no VAT (reverse charge). Outside the EU, no VAT unless local law requires a tax.
Refunds
Changed your mind? If you have not activated the licence you bought, we refund you in full within 14 days of purchase. Details: Refunds & Right of Withdrawal.
Your data
To manage activations we store a hashed machine ID, the computer's name, and the macOS and app versions. Nothing from your projects or audio is sent to us. Details: Privacy Policy.
